Paint Enhancement
Restoring depth, clarity, and gloss to your vehicle's paintwork through professional machine polishing.
Gloss That Goes Beyond the Surface
Paint enhancement is the process of improving the condition and appearance of your vehicle's paintwork through machine polishing. Over time, paintwork accumulates swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and surface oxidation — all of which diminish the depth and clarity of the finish.
Using professional dual-action or rotary polishers with appropriate compounds and polishes, we remove or reduce these defects to restore the paint's original gloss and depth. The level of correction is tailored to the vehicle's specific condition and the client's goals.
Paint enhancement is always followed by a protection stage to seal the corrected surface and maintain the results.
Enhancement Tailored to Your Paint
The level of paint enhancement required depends on the current condition of the paintwork. We assess each vehicle individually and recommend the appropriate treatment.
Enhancement Polish
A single-stage machine polish to improve gloss, remove light swirl marks, and enhance the overall clarity of the paintwork. Suitable for vehicles in good condition that need a refresh.
Suitable For
Light swirl marks, minor surface hazing, dull finish
Paint Correction
A multi-stage machine polish using a combination of cutting compound and finishing polish to address moderate to heavy swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and surface oxidation.
Suitable For
Moderate swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, oxidation
Full Paint Restoration
An intensive multi-stage correction process for vehicles with significant paint defects. This involves multiple passes with appropriate compounds and polishes to achieve the maximum possible correction.
Suitable For
Heavy scratches, severe swirling, deep oxidation, neglected paintwork
The Paint Enhancement Process
Paint Assessment
We inspect the paintwork under specialist lighting to identify the type and severity of defects, and assess paint depth using a paint thickness gauge.
Surface Preparation
The vehicle is fully decontaminated and prepared before any polishing begins. Paint correction on contaminated paint is ineffective and risks damage.
Test Panel
We perform a test polish on a small area to confirm the correct product and machine combination for the vehicle's specific paint.
Machine Polishing
The selected polish and machine combination is applied systematically across all painted surfaces, working panel by panel.
Inspection & Re-Pass
Each panel is inspected under specialist lighting after polishing. Any areas requiring additional work are addressed before moving on.
Protection Application
Once polishing is complete, a protection product — wax, sealant, or ceramic coating — is applied to seal and protect the corrected surface.
